Sanibel Movie: Sanibel to screen Paragon Theatres January 2025

This limited engagement marks a homecoming of sorts for Sanibel, which began as a lighthearted exploration of the island’s renowned shelling community and transformed dramatically in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Directed by Herbert James Winterstern, co-produced by Swipemarket’s Jamie Winterstern and Kevan Rayden, and now in collaboration with Oscar-winning production company Dirty Robber, the film highlights the resolve and optimism that blossomed amidst destruction. Locals and visitors alike will have a chance to see firsthand why it resonated so powerfully at the Naples International Film Festival.
